Windows Explorer is a .NET process?

On one of my virtual machines, Process Explorer shows explorer.exe as a ".net process". I have never seen this before, but the machine is working very slowly, it seems to be malware infected but KIS and IceSword can´t find anything. What do y´all think? ???

Well, it´s a strange problem, I´ve installed quite a lot of apps on this virtual machine for testing, I just thought it was strange that Process Explorer qualifies explorer.exe as a .NET process while it clearly is not. But maybe this ain´t even a security problem but a bug in PE, I will ask this question in the forum over there. ;)
