Greetings all,

I am sure this is a simple fix, and may have already been addressed before, but I can't complete the Trial version of Nod 32 v.2 on my machine. I am running XP Pro on a new HP machine. I am getting this error almost at the end of the install programme: "Error 121 standard product". Hitting OK terminates the installation. I have no trouble installing the old version 1 though, or any other a.v. programme. I am puzzled. ???

Hey swisscoms

Have you tried terminating all 3rd party processes using XP’s Task Manager? Then attempt to Install NOD32 under Administrator mode?

Hi Phantom,

Just tried shutting down all 3rd part apps. Still the same error "Error 121 Standard Component". A real head scratcher! :-\

Greetings again all,

I have received a very prompt reply from ESET, which was correct as follows:

Hello,

please go to Start - Run, enter
regsvr32 cabview.dll

and press OK. Afterwards, run the NOD32 installation.

Best regards,

Mark ;D

Hi all,

if anybody else gets the same error message, please send me an IM with your email address - I'll send you a fixed module that solves also other issues related to this error.

Thanks, :)
