Hi ! ;D

We have a licence problem on all of our linux file servers. The install is ok and the update via the web too. I've put the nod32.lic sent by eset in the /etc/nod32/licence directory. But when lauching the command "/usr/sbin/nod32 --subdir -c clean --log --log-file '/sauvegarde/nod32log.txt' /data" i've always the error "No valid LFS license found." Eset said to us that the licence file is ok. I don't know what to do now, we don't have virus check since the last 2 months ! help is needed !
Thx

PS : our version of nod32 is 2.51.1

Did you purchase from the Nod32 website or a local french distributor?

Cheers ;D

It'd be interesting to know who did you contact and how they tested the license key.

I don't who test the file, we have contated our local distributor (LGR) who had done this. They said to us that eset has done the test and that all is ok.

Your license is for NOD32 LMS and not LFS, hence you cannot start the nod32 scanner.

We have purchased 1 LMS and 12 LFS, 500 users, 5 windows file server !!!
LGR sent us 2 others licence key but for "NOD32 Remote Administrator" (Product name in the licence file). We never purchased this. I don't understand why everybody said to us that all is ok. :(

If you received a license key for LFS as well, you must put it to the licenses folder along with a license for LMS.

unfortunately, now i know that we didn't receive a LFS licence ! it's the problem ! :'(

I'd suggest that you contact LGR and ask them to generate a new license key for you if you misplaced or didn't get it at all.

Is the license file someting ESET should have mailed when subscription was purchased from them?

Until now only thing needed was login/password in auth.cfg file. Only license file they sent is for windows stuff - not unix.

While waiting for ESET support to send the file, what is, and where can the latest version for linux mail server, that doesnt need that file be found?
