View Full Version : Why won't zone alarm allow thumbnails to display?

This is one example as I have noticed this on other sites as well. When Zone Alarm enabled, the thumbnail images are not being displayed in either Firefox or IE. I will say that NIS is bloated but I had less "quirks" then I do with Zone Alarm.

I figured it out. I had to drop my "ad blocking" setting to medium. Now I guess it's not going to block any banner ads. A lot of compromises occur with these security software packages.

On some sites you need to adjust Cookie Control as well (i.e. lower slider down to 'Off') else the thumbnails won't show. I prefer to keep my 'Ad' slider to medium and just lower the 'Cookie' slider (which blocks the 'Referrer') when I need to.

Yep thats why i use admuncher which is better ,lighter and more configuarable than anything the firewall suites have come up with.
