My brothers computer slowed WAY down this past week. His adobe acrobatg reader started malfunctioning. And every time he reboots his computer, windows installer attempts to install an "instant share device", whatever that is.
I told him that it sounded like a Spyware problem. He ran spybot and spyware doctor scans and removed all that they found. We ran CCleaner to rid his computer of garbage. We also cleaned the registry with JV16 power tools.
However, he is still having the above problems. Any ideas? Any advice as to other scans he should run?
