For some reason, when I use TI8 to create an archive onto a HD that I later want to put onto DVDs, I only get the option for CD sized tib files. So I'm forced to create those, on teh external usb hd. And later I burn six at a time onto DVDs (my original intent). So, in other words, each DVD has six 650mb TIB files on it.

Then (getting to my point), I want to extract the tibs onto another HD, which happens to be a little smaller that the original (source) HD, so I have to use the RESIZE option --

and before I ever start extracting, It asks me to keep loading discs, in a CRAZY order (which I don't mind), but I'm in the middle of it now, and i've loaded some discs more than 4 times each! And since there are 23, this is getting to be EXTREMELY time consuming. What's going on here?

Will I ever get to the end of this series, or is it ****ed? Is there any point in continuing load the discs?

FYI it's saying
Please insert the media marked Volume #....

Just in the past few minutes it's asked for these in this order:
volumes: 7 5 7 16 7 6 7 6 7 6 7 23

Christ. It wouldn't be so bad it if just FAILED!!!!

Save yourself a little pain, ignore the dropdown list for image splitting sizes and just type 1492 MB into the textbox instead. You can then burn up to three .tib files per DVD for maximum space utilisation.
