I have used Dellater successfully, following tonyjl's advice in
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=110389&highlight=dellater
to delete the "index.dat" file in the Temporary Internet Files folder.

I used the dos window instead of the "Start & Run" method.
I didn't even have to shorten the path names with tildes.
Windows re-created the file at reboot, but it was empty :) 8)

Now, I wonder if someone might know of a way to have Dellater do it
automatically at every boot, like maybe a batch or ini file or... ?

Yes, you can easily make any program (or batch file) run when Windows is started. There are various manual ways to do it, or you can use our Autostart Viewer program (http://www.diamondcs.com.au/index.php?page=asviewer)
ASViewer not only shows you all the programs that are registered to automatically start, but also allows you to easily add new autostarts.

Best regards,
Wayne
