mounting backups

I see in order to mount a backup as a drive youneed to originally have backed up the whole partition.

If I have several partitions I want to back up can I burn them to 1 disk[yes they fit] & then mount them all or can I choose wich to mount?

You can mount them all, of course. Each "mounted" image file will appear in Windows Explorer as a separate virtual drive.
