:'( Desperate for HELP!!! I found a need to restore my harddrive to a backup image that I created back in February. I first backed up newer individual files that I had created in 'My Documents' but I failed to make a backup of my Outlook files so now I have lost all my latest MS Outlook, Email and Calendar entries. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?? Can I revert the restore? I did not make a full system or incremental backup before I restored because I thought I had copied all the files that had changes but forgot all about my outlook files. PLEASE HELP!!

You've not said what type of restore you did, but in most cases, the answer is that you are out of luck. If you did an image restore of the whole drive or of a partition you have overlaid everything in that drive or partition. If you just restored some files, then you might be able to unerase the old files, but it doesn't sound as though you did a file restore.

OK, if you know someone in the CIA, you might be able to get them back, but short of that, they are gone.
For the future, you have already identified a good plan. Make an image before restoring an older image. That way, you can recover the files you need, or you could put the drive back the way it was.
