Disk Director making toaster coaster's

I have Disk Director suite 9.0 build 554.
as well as True Image 8 build 937.

Upgrading my system with new Larger hard drive,
I re-installed all software, starting fresh.

when asked to make rescue disk, I insert a clean CD,
and it proceeds to get burned. Completed, and removed.

But when I come to test the CD it is not read.
I can see the disk has been burned.
The CD content comes up blank in Windows Explorer.

After 4 coaster, I give up.

Please be aware that Acronis Bootable Rescue CD is formatted into Linux-based file system, that is why you are not able to browse the content of this CD in Windows.

Could you please clarify what exactly happens when you try to boot from that CD?
