Restore: Which archive do I have to select?

Hello,

When I want to restore something from a (multifile) incremental backup, which archive should I select.

1) Does it matter if I select the first or the last one or one in the middle?
2) Is it the same with folder/file restore and entire harddisk/partition restore?

I'm using TI Srv for Win 9.1.

Hi whitesnow,

In TI9 Home, you select any file from the chain, since TI detects it as "Volume X of a Multivolume Image".

In the next step you are presented with all the points in time contained in the multivolume image and you select the one you want to restore to.

Your Server version works probably the same, but just give it a try. You can Cancel the restoration procedure at any step before the last (Proceed) command.
