Why are you limiting yourself only to the mentioned programs when there are better av programs available? Ever tried NOD32 or KAV? ;)
So from your list I would choose F-Prot or McAfee VirusScan (but this only if it runs on-demand only). :)

Kav, F prot and Nod32 are good choices
It has been known issue and a thing to keep in mind is that when it comes to Kav it may not be advisable to continually run it in the background- especially 4x versions - or you might regret it ;) with it's extensive unpacking support comes a trade off.

NOD32 ?
Hell no !
according to my experience, this AV is rated excellent when it comes to detect viruses ITW but for the rest...
NOD32 performs badly for trojans worms..
have a look here:

Edit: If NOD32 gets so many VB awards, don't forget it about ITW ! ;)
Sincerely,
Nick

..and improving rapidly. That said: as always I'm all for layered defense: a top notch antivirus in combo with a top notch antitrojan.

Rather outdated in the meanwhile ;)

"Rather outdated in the meanwhile "
But still true... ::)
that's why I don't recommend using NOD if you're searching for the best protection you can find.

I do respect your opinion - but as an (ITW) antivirus, it's pretty hard to come up with software beating NOD32. Leaving up the "layered defense": in case you rely on one app doing all the work, you'll end up totally unprotected when this app is targetted and put out of business ;)
regards.

NOD 32 with a good AT ( TH,TDS or Boclean) IS the best protection you can find.
Just IMHO.

I'll second that. I run NOD32 and BoClean and have no problems. In fact NOD just stopped Sobig that came in a unsolicited email as I was d/ling mail.
