I found some information regarding v8, but nothing about v9. Does v9 exclude the pagefile, and the hiberfile by default? Neither file is listed on the excluded files option page. What files are excluded by default?
Thanks
David

Hello David,
Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Yes, Acronis True Image 9.0 Home excludes paging and hibernate files from the disk backup image.

When you create file-based image, Acronis True Image 9.0 Home allows you to set the default filters for not to back up files of specific types.
The default setting – all files from the selected folders will be included into the archive.
For example, you may want hidden and system files and folders, as well as files with .~, .tmp and .bak extensions, not to be stored in the image.
You can also apply custom filters, using the common Windows masking rules. For example, to exclude all files with extension .exe, add *.exe mask. My???.exe mask will reject all .exe files with names, consisting of five symbols and starting with “my”
You can also find more information on how to use Acronis True Image 9.0 Home in the respective User's Guide (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/docs/).
Thank you.
