my zone alarm blocked norton form updating how can i unblock it so it can let it update?

Go to the Program Control section, put the program control slider to low (so ZA is in learning mode) then run the Norton updater.

Alternatively you can just click the 'Program' tab and scroll down to Norton's updater and ensure it has 'Access'.

the learning mode thing did not work how do i do the other thing?

One thing you need to check on though - can you run 'LiveUpdate' successfully with ZA disabled?

THANK YOU i got my problem solved there i had to grant access to it from zone alarm. *hands you chocolate chip cookie as prize*
