Hi, was wondering if there is a product available that can allow for booting directly from a Acronis Backup Image, something similar to a PXE server hosting a image file, and setting the boot device in the bios to boot from PXE.

Hello guest,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

I'm afraid that the image file cannot be bootable one. However, we recommend you to use Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATICW/) or Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATIESWin/).

Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation and Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server provide the ability to create an ISO image of a bootable disk on the hard disk. If there is a Microsoft RIS server in your local network, you can save the bootable data on this server as well. Then any networked computer will be able to boot any program from the RIS package.

Please find the detailed information in the respective Acronis True Image User's Guide (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/download/docs/).

Thank you.
