Hello, does anyone know of a program called TuneUp Utilities 2006? Is there anything better than this program? Free or not :)
Also, is there an Adobe Reader alternative? Free or not...
Thanks,
Gracie

Hi Gracie,{QUOTE-> Hello, does anyone know of a program called TuneUp Utilities 2006? Is there anything better than this program? Free or not :) <-QUOTE}I've TuneUp Utilities 2006 and like it very much.
It gives all sorts of tools.

Another one to use would be Ace Utilities (http://www.acelogix.com/), which is the second one I also bought. 8)
Difficult to choose between those two, but TU gives you lots of other tools too.
Don't know about anything which could beat those two. ;D {QUOTE-> Also, is there an Adobe Reader alternative? Free or not... <-QUOTE}Only one and IMHO the best: Foxit Reader (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php) and it's FREE :thumb:

i like tuneup utilities 2006 but because i use only a few of the tools, i dumped it for ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) (registry and disk cleaning) and x-setup pro (http://www.x-setup.net/) (tweaking). and like Eldar, i too use foxit reader. it is very small and fast.

Yes, I'm planning to use Foxit Reader too. Adobe Reader is a disaster.

Huh  , I remember versions 4, 5 and 6 were a pain to use, but I'm very happy with the 7, I can use up to six-seven instances running at the same time without system beeing slowed down ;) .
Another vote for Ace Utilities here ;D .
Cheers,

Yes another vote for Tune Up!!!
Have been using it for 4 years now, superb software, can't fault it.
I use Adobe Reader 7 but will be looking at Fox It as so many here recommend it!
