Hi All. Just tried Spybot S&D and sucessfully found a few extra things. When I search for updates I find several but when I download these, they all fail because of "bad checksum." What causes that to happen and can it be corrected? Thanks. Rickster

I have the same problem here. Probably the server is
down!

Thanks. I found that by starting in the advanced mode I could change to more download mirrors. I ensured settings were at default and used the Australian site. I was able to download all available updates. Pretty good program. It found 22 more little buggers Adaware missed. I don't know what a checksum is or does, so it wasn't hard to confuse me.
Best Regards. Rickster

Yes, in Europe they have very high temperatures.
It's a mess over there.
on the update - use the mirror to Australia - updates as normal

From PepiMK:
I'm checking all update servers now...
Meanwhile, please select the Safer Networking #1 mirror. It is the one that can offer the most connections. In a few minutes, Safer Networking #2 will be available as well, dedicated only for updates. And kolla.de has just been verified, but should not be used as it may be slow (the same server is also hosting the website).
(and if Spybot-S&D seems to hang - even here it takes up to a minute before the download starts - too many users )
