Hello abuckeye,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

First of all, please follow the instructions provided in this FAQ article (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/faq.html#22).

If that does not help then you can also try becoming NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM on Windows 2000/XP/2003 (http://computing.fnal.gov/security/cookbook/LocalSystem.html) as an alternative workaround.

If the problem still persist then please provide us with the following information:

- What exact version and build number of Acronis True Image 6.0 do you use?

You can find the full version name and build number by going to Help -> About... menu in the main program window;

- What operating system is installed on your computer?

- What kind of password protection do you use?

- Provide the exact text of the error message that you receive;

- When exactly do you receive this error message?

- Describe actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step.

Please also download and install the free trial version of Acronis True Image 9.0 (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/trueimage/), mount the image archive having the issue as a virtual drive by means of the embedded Plug Image tool and see if the problem still persists. Please inform us about the result.

Thank you.
