Is this possible?
I foolishly made an image without scanning the partition and just discovered a cab virus. It's no big deal but I want to add a note reminding me to delete it after restoring.
TIA

I don't know if it is possible but you could change the backup filenames to remind you unless they are in the Secure Zone which I don't think gives you such acess (?).
Hopefully you'll get a more informed answer.

Just to confirm that embeded comments can't be added to an image retrospectively but, as you suggest, the image filename(s) can be renamed unless the image resides in the Acronis Secure Zone.

Hello Carmina,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).
We regret to inform you that you can not add comments to already created image archive.
However, as seekforever suggested, you could rename the image archive filenames to remind you unless the image archive are in Acronis Secure Zone which does not allow you to specify the filename.
There is another way that I can offer you. You can add the comment to the image archive file in Windows: right click on the file -> Properties->Summary and add necessary comments in the respective field. After that you can adjust folder view to show details (View->Details) and make sure that you check "Comments" to show in View->Choose Details... After that you will be able to see the comments when you open the folder with the image archive file.
Thank you.

Many thanks for the replies. I'd already renamed the image file and that'll do, I guess. :)
