Hello anssupport,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).
As far as I can understand from your post #4 from this previous thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=123988) you started, you already solved the problem by installing the latest build (2337) of Acronis True Image 9.0 and creating new Bootable Rescue CD.
If the problem appears again then please make sure that there are no other partitioned hard drives connected to the destination computer on Windows first boot. The point is that if there are any other partitioned hard drives connected to this computer and their partitions already have some letters assigned then Windows on it's first boot might mix up the drive letters in the way you have described.
If that's not the case then please do as Tatyana has suggested in the above mentioned thread and provide us with the reports created for both source and destination hard drives. Please also let us know where you store your image. Describe the way you restore this image in detail. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.
P.S. Please try avoid posting duplicate threads in the future as it sometimes doubles our work.
Thank you.
