I read the Acronis True Image User's Guide.
When creating an image automatically and directly on DVD+RW, I have to use UDF formatted discs.
If I create an image file splitted into several volumes and I store them on a hard drive, and later I try to transfer these files onto DVD+RW:
have I to use UDF formatted discs or could I use them without formatting?
Thanks for the help.

No, you don't have to preformat DVDs before using the "two-step" method. The split size you use when creating the original image to your hard drive will depend on whether you intend to burn the .tib files as DVD-ROM (ISO) compilations or DVD-ROM (UDF) compilations (not the same as drag-and-drop UDF packet writing). Please read this <previous reply> (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=630916&postcount=4) for more information.
