I just did an update on my NOD32 and this would have to be one of the biggest updates I have seen on NOD; a whopping 160KB :)

Well looks like NOD is doing its job which is great !!!

This update def file was 1.1439

??? The size of update doesn't tell anything about how many samples were added.

Win32/Afire.E (2), Win32/Kebede.J

in fact this was one of the smallest updates in virus signatures. ;D 1.1436 was big 497 signatures. :P
