Win XP and Pentium 3 machine.

Is anybody using the Bootvis tool to analyse Driver Delay times. The problem I have in deciphering the output is that just about every driver is called Amon.sys!

Can some one else who has Bootvis from
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hwdev/platform/performance/fastboot/default.mspx
see what their output looks like for "Driver Delay" both in Graph and Column details, and do you have just about every driver called Amon.sys?

I had a read of this but it doesn't apply to my specs.

Hi linney,

I've tried to download the Bootvis.exe tool, but there was:
"Note: The BootVis.exe tool is temporarily unavailable." .
So i found some other site and downloaded the file. Of cource, i don't know, whether I have the latest version. My version is 1.3.36.0. I don't know, where from do you have the first part of the picture, but see mine report from bootvis.

Regards!

Vigy, Thanks for the trouble you went to assist me. It was above the call of duty that you went out and downloaded Bootvis. Again thank you very much.

I hope you can benefit from its use. Your output regarding Amon seems normal, so it must be something on my machine that is causing Amon to show up as nearly every driver.

The column view by the way is obtained (if I remember correctly) by right clicking on the chart view.

Again thank you.
