Find a free "anti-nasty site" software

I read about a small, free software that protects your pc from "nasty sites" but don't remember now where I read it. :-[ I've been doing a lot of reading the last two days: various PCWorld mag issues, a number of review sites on security software, etc. The best clue I have is that it's very recent information. Anyone out there know anything about a free software of this type?
