:thumbd: Hi - I really could use some help with probably the most "annoying" problem I've ever had with PC's. I mean I've had exponentially worse problems, but this is beyond irritating. You know when you click "START" on the lower left of the taskbar - and that menu pops up with Programs, Settings, Search, etc... Well that menu keeps popping up on it's own (a lot) even though I'm not clicking on it! So your there typing your work or surfing the web & the next thing you know 1/3 of the page is covered with that stupid menu. I do keep my PC's well maintained to boot. Any ideas on how to solve that? Many thanks!!!!! Deca :thumb:

Any chance of swapping out your current keyboard with another to see if the problem lies there ?

Hi crofttk - Ya know - you have a very good point there. I am using a "relatively" new Logitech wireless keyboard - and that could be it! I'll try it. Thank you! Deca:thumb:

-{ Quote: "Any chance of swapping out your current keyboard with another to see if the problem lies there ?" }-Very good suggestion given the fact an intermittent stuck Windows key can definetly cause this.

Yup, hopefully it's as simple a problem as that. I recently installed a Microsoft Wireless KB for SWMBO and the "y" key is iffy - it misses once in a while, doesn't stick - it's hardly worth returning it because it seems the key is getting better as time passes and she has NO working keyboard otherwise (and no spare on hand).
Best of luck, Decapad
