MSCONFIG cannot be executed

Installed True Image 9.0 registered. Installed Disk Commander 10 Trial cannot execute MSCONFIG any more. Any ideas?

Do you receive any error messages or something or is msconfig just not starting..? Saw this behaviour once when a computer was infected with spyware/addware/virus. You couldn't even start regedit or the taskmanager.
