Hi all,

Iam running a NAT router with build in firewall from SMC Networks.

One thing puzzles me: in the configuration setup there is an option called "Enable daylight savings", here i can enter a start month with a day setting to a second month with day setting.

Can anyone tell me what this is and where it is for, i haven't got a clue ???

Daylight savings-time means that your firewall can be adjusted according Summer/Wintertime. This is only meaningful if you have a time-based rule-set (Office hours fi)

Hi Martin

Information from the time zone and daylight savings settings allows for accurate log entries and client filtering.
