Can I create one Bootable Rescue Media disk that can be used on different computers? Example: I create Image file of a WIN2000 computer. Can I use a Bootable Rescue Media disk that was created on a XP Pro computer to start the computer so I can restore the image from a USB hard drive?

So, yes, you could use it on more than one computer BUT, by doing so, you would be in breach of TI's End User Licence.

Hello TomSkarbo,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

I would like to confirm Menorcaman's statements:

1.) Acronis True Image Bootable Rescue CD is Linux based and has it's own assortment of drivers for the wide variety of modern hardware. In other words, it does not depend on the hardware configuration of the system it was created on and so can used on any of your computers.

2.) According to Acronis software licensing policy, you should purchase one copy of Acronis program per every computer where it will be used (the same applies to Bootable Rescue CD).

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/) or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

Thank you.
