In our house… we have a dog, aquarium fish, and chickens. My favorite is our dog, coz it treats you like a family member. They can really know you like a true friend and they’re very loyal and playful. Really a very good companion, they can even understand our language. The only thing I don’t like in our dog was that sometimes its very noisy, barking like a paranoid… even without any reason to bark at and also they are scratching and digging in our yard producing some kind of holes that I wonder what it was its purpose was. And there are times they are looking at you like a paranoid hypnotist or watching and observing you like a kid. *puppy*

In the past we also have a cat and a parrot. But I discarded the cat because it treat you like a staff, it didn’t respect your privacy, it scratches the furniture, and even the first to eat your meal in your table that you’ve prepared at, and sometimes brings some dead lizards or mice inside your house, and the worst it makes our surroundings to smell bad, it urinates everywhere. We also discarded the parrot coz it’s very noisy…my golly, and if you’re not careful it will pick up and eats up your finger while you fed it, and also it needs regular cleaning of its cage. :-\ :thumbd:

Sweater this is for you. Good laugh.

HOW TO CLEAN THE TOILET A NEW AND FUN WAY!!!

1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8
cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.

2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you
carry him towards the bathroom.

3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the
toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on
the lid.

4. The cat will self agitate and make ample
suds. Never mind the noises that come from the
toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This
provides a "power-wash" and "rinse".

6. Have someone open the front door of your
home. Be sure that there are no people between the
bathroom and the front door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can,
and quickly lift both lids.

8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet,
streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he
will dry himself off.

9. Both the commode and the cat will be
sparkling clean.

Sincerely, The Dog

Hi The Dog, ;)

Not meaning to spoil the fun....but I'm a bit concerned that your "joke"
may provoke someone's sadistic mind to do exactly what is posted here. :-\

Some people are just that way.

Besides: I don't think it's at all funny on the cost of a helpless creature suffering...because "We" think it's hillarious.

I am a Dog person at heart, but we have 2 cats, because we are out long hours during the day and it would be cruel to leave a dog in the house. Atleast the cats can go roaming during the day (cat flap).

Our cats are monsters, both brothers, so always fighting and bringing in birds, mice and even bats.

Loadsa cats on our street and they rarely fight cause theres fields and woods nearby for them to go hunting, one day I came home from work and found 5 cats sun bathing in our back yard (they are all friendly cats) !

Well..My favorite pets are dogs and cats.
Although I love all animals.

If I had the place and money...my dream is to provide some kind of place for homeless, unwanted, and old - (to spent the rest of their lives in harmony)... furry and feathered friends...where they will be cared for...a good home.

Until not too long ago I had a small zoo in my house. :D

2 dogs & 5 cats ! After some of them went to animal heaven, I have 3 sweet and loving cats "left".
They are always around me.
Only when it's time for "cat wash" and grooming do they want some privacy. ;D

Before I had cats, I always had parakeets.
They are the cutest things. So sociable.....always wanting to smooch , lol ! ;D

Yeah...if you leave them be..and alone without any contact ever..they litterally can get mentally ill. Just like humans.

But then...ALL animals will/would.

Hey Nat

A little humor never hurts. I work with dogs and cats and love them all. Caring for them is my business. I have a hard time believing any one on Wilders would actually be mean enough to try this.

Aside from that I suspect that even trying this with a cat would result in far more harm to the person trying than the cat. I "pill" dogs quite a bit and although they don't like it, it's not hard. No way would I ever try doing it with a cat.

Hehe...two of my cats are brother & sister also. ;D

One time on the way to school, those two tiny ~ probably only about 8 weeks old kittens came "running" up to my kids...and from then on declared them their parents. ;D ;D

Of course they dropped them off at the house in a hurry...saying breathlessly
"Here mom! Gotta go!!"

Luckily I already had a cat potty there...and no training was needed. They knew where to go. :o

Hi Pete,

Thank's. I like reading that you work with dogs & cats and that you love them. :)

And I love humor - Absolutely!!
Just I'm sensitive to what kind. That's me.
If a so called joke for example tells to do this scary thing to an animal...or to
put it in the rinse-cycle of the washer...yadda yadda...Yes, alot of people find it absolutely hillarious. Despite the image of it actually happening.

The thing is: It DOES happen. Everyday some sick minded person finds amusement in anything possible to torture a pet...animal.

Kids especially are easily 'tempted' to try this oh so funny thing. Just to have a laugh when that cat's screaming in pain and fear..or the dog that hides under the couch because someone has some leftover fireworks to
"entertain" the dog...:ouch:

The lists goes on and on...

True. Just because you posted this "joke" doesn't make you mean or so.
But have faith that there are lots and lots of people out there - and even here, that ARE.

P.S. My english isn't that great ...so I hope you can understand what I mean..or how I feel. Thanx. :)

Oh Nat, do I ever understand. I was at a 24 hour animal clinic here in DC, that also provides services to the Animal Shelter folks. They brought in a dog that .... well lets just say it was tragic. There were several folks there that really wanted to go hurt the humans responsible.

But fortunately I can contrast that to some of my clients who have spent literally thousands of dollars to provide a pet with the car they needed.

So there are bad yes, but also a lot more good.

These are two of my clients.

Lovely photo Pete. :D

Everyday something tragic happens. It hurts that I feel helpless sometimes. Wish I could prevent and help, you know ?

Unfortunately this is not always possible. So I do my best locally, whatever it takes.

And it's soooo good to know that there are still humans out there who have a heart. ;)

Thanx for sharing, Pete.

Hi Nat,

I couldn't do that...;D discarded means I just gave them to somebody who likes them. And besides, when you throw the cat on the air they always land on their feet...like an acrobat performer and I was always amazed how they do that. And also if you throw a parrot in the air I think it'll just fly away like a bird. 8)

One thing also I don't like in the cats was that when they go horny they are very noisy and they are doing that in the middle of the night. >:( ;D It will definitely disturbs your sleep.

i like dogs too....but, i have a cat......low maintenance, and i can be gone a day or two without having to have someone lined up to care for it.
