I find LNS to be nice and light, however its rules creation leaves me stumped.

Im unsure if I could correctly make a rule set on my own leaving me to wonder if i would really ever be protected correctly. Vs going with something like outpost which does a little more hand holding in my opinion.

How well are you protected if one uses just the default enhanced rules set that comes with the program? Using Dial up or Cable.

the enhanced ruleset should be fine for most people. keep in mind that u might need to import rules for p2p or IM programs.

I to am [was] an OutPost user [life time License] but in which direction is it going at this moment time, it is not much good if it leads you by the hand to the middle of a very busy Road. :(
