A 55-year-old Tunbridge Wells nurse has been hauled before the Nursing and Midwifery Council's professional conduct committee in London for allegedly slapping a colleague with a frozen trout, the BBC reports.

The fish-assisted assault - after which the acccused reportedly said "give us a kiss" while moving the fish's mouth - is one of four charges of professional misconduct levelled at Patricia Jennings. She's also accused of inappropriate conduct, viz: "Reaching inside their [colleagues'] uniforms, asking questions about their private lives, and putting sweet wrappers down a nurse's top.

Were the wrappers made of 100% non-rustle PVC?

Good grief! Over at TBIHome (head-injury support group), every so often in the chat rooms you'd see "X slaps Y with a wet trout". But now it's also happening out there, in the "real" world?? ::)

(Edit, a P.S.) Just remembered something about those incidents. While I had no official (e.g., mod) status there, if I saw trouble brewing then I'd start doing conspicuous warmup swings with my piranha.
