How does the nimda.exe antiviral file in the Wilder dl section protect from infection? *Does it take up ram to do so or just make one-time changes? *Is there a readme for it? *Thanks.

have a look at the "cleaners" section from:

www.wilders.org/free_tools.htm

and the screenshot provided over there. It's a one-time-change, no ram taken.
