cant record music, no sound is being recorded! [Resolved]

I just noticed that windows recorder, and audacity doesn't record sound anymore! I adjusted the volume for all sounds to the highest level, The music plays but the recording is always flat lined, there's absolutely no sound being recorded!!!! how can I fixed it? :'(

I fixed it! went to control panel -> sound and audio device.. the recording was set to cd and not sterio mixing, I'm so glad it wasnt something else :thumb: ;D ;D
