Hi first ever post to a forum so apologies if I err.
Is there a way to have the secure zone manager use an existing partition. When I select a partition of 14 gig, it wants to format rename (drive letter) and move some of my other partitions.
This partition is empty and will only hold the secure zone and files.

Hi DDONMOOT,
I'm not sure of the precise order but I believe that the Secure Zone (SZ) needs to be physically located in a certain relationship to the main system partition. Therefore, depending which partition you choose to create the SZ from, the other partitions may need to be shuffled along to make the necessary room.

Hello DDONMOOT,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).
Besides of the Menorcaman's advice, I would also like to mention that you can find the detailed instructions on how to create and use Acronis Secure Zone in section 3.2 of Acronis True Image 9.0 User's Guide (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/docs/).
If you still can not create Acronis Secure Zone or have any doubts about the process of it's creation then please provide us with the more detailed information on the problem:
- Tell us more about your hard drive's partition layout (a number of partitions, their sizes and drive letters);
- What operating system do you use?
- What exact version and build number of Acronis True Image do you use?
You can find the full version name and build number by going to Help -> About... menu in the main program window;
- Have you received any error messages? What exact error messages? When exactly have you received them?
- Describe actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step.
Thank you.
