Titanium Yes, what do you want to know?
It includes a firewall, It's slows your boot... I can go on... Both Panda products Titanium & Platinum feel like their in Beta on my system (i.e not polished, could improve a lot running wise)
I won't comment on detection rates, (leave that to someone knowledgable).
I have trialled both. Any questions feel free to ask.

their products offer a lot of features though (PIPS they call it)
{QUOTE-> Personal Intrusion Prevention System - PIPS which simultaneously combats both known and unknown viruses
spyware, worms, Trojans, bots, hackers, spam, phishing,etc <-QUOTE}
Maybe you should give it a spin

The internetsecurity pack from Panda had a good review.
They made a new product: antivirus + antispyware ( no firewall ).
Some online shops sell it at a very good price.
Unfortunatly i didn`t find one that ships to europe.
People who are not happy with the free av`s should thake a look at the webshops.

My wife has Panda Titanium and likes it. The firewall is disabled and she's using ZA free. There was some kind of conflict with the firewall and her email. After fighting with it for an hour or two, I disabled the firewall and installed ZA.
All in all, she hasn't had any problem or experienced any real slowdown. She's on a generic box with 384 RAM and an 800mhz AMD processor.

Panda Titanium seems OK to me as a product, but it seems Panda does not give free upgrades to the program (example: upgrade from 2005 to 2006 version). :(

As far as I know, they send you a mail to upgrade for free, during the first 6 months of your version.
Cheers;

Didn't get you there.....Do you mean that I get a free upgrade if the new version is released within 6 months of purchase of the current version?

Yes, I wasn't clear ;D , sorry, but that's it: when you bought 2005 in the 6 months before 2006 was released, you receive a mail from Panda to upgrade for free :).

The very first Titanium was ultra fast & very lightweight, but it has gone downhill from there. Their sowftware has become the biggest bloat in the industry (I'm quite sure about that), and it was the only reason why I purchased another AV. It really took 2 minutes to apply an update once it was downloaded, and my pc would stall in those 2 minutes.
Excellent AV back then, but not anymore. They really need to fix the bloat, because it's really bad currently.
