Microsoft’s Anti-Spyware program is causing troubles for people who also use Symantec’s Norton Anti-Virus software. It seems that a recent update to Microsoft’s anti-spyware application claims Norton to be a password-stealing program and advises users to remove it.

I will not touch NAV, it has a history of missing viruses and trojans. I've have friends whos computers were wiped out by using NAV instead of a good AV.

Hi,
I tried to see if MSAS does a good job - yes, it deletes NAV rather nicely...

Hi,
One thing I strive for most in software is - zero conflicts.
Any FP for me is like a dagger through scrotum.
Read about Defender - my fresh findings, and you'll see that NAV is the least of your problems.

Hey there is a post in my turkish forum today. MS Defender can not be installed to an unlicenced Windows. So, MS loves crackers more than payers ;D ;D

Hi,
Tansu, I have 6 Windows licences, all bought for hard-earned money.
This is not the problem in my case...

Hi @Mrkvonic,
I meant
Since it can not be installed on unlisenced Windows, crackers are luckier than us. They can not install MSdefender even if they want.
I never did, and will support piracy.

This thread seems to be going nowhere. So it needs to get back on topic or it will be closed.
