Hi FatalChaos,
Unless it says a Free one-year subscription, its not Free! Many products advertise a Free download, and they are bascially Trial offers. Some Trial offers are discounted.

I alread had 1 license for Bitdefender 9 and decided to buy another license because of the of the Webroot Spysweer deal. At first I was thought something is not quite right here but it does include updates to latest version. As of now I belive it is 4.5.709 and a 1 year subscription. Hope that helps.

Huh? so you're not sure? You paid for it and you're unsure as to whether you got a year subscription to "spysweer" (or spysweeper?) in the end? Perhaps you could explain a little further so we can be sure what it is you are trying to tell us???

I thought the $19.95 BitDefender9 download was a better deal. I've already got some anti-spyware, so I didn't want the Spysweeper. I had also seen posts that the Spysweeper was a trial version.

JerryM says BD support told him that SpySweeper isn't compatible with BD and should be uninstalled http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=123203
If thats the case then why is it bundled with BD ???
