Hello,

I have a pretty simple question. I want to know if Boot Media is made as a "generic" CD. (i.e. the same boot CD is resulted no matter the system it was created on) provided that the same version and build # of true Image was used.

Or if bootmedia is Computer specific (i.e. derived from drivers, or sysinfo from the machine on which it was created).

Thanks,

Kyle

The boot media is not specific. It can be used on any computer, but remember, TI is licensed for use on one computer. If you plan to use it on more than one, you should purchase the appropriate number of licenses.

Hello Kyle and Terry,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Terry is absolutely right. Acronis Bootable Rescue CD does not depend on the system it was created from. It also takes the version and the build number of the installation of Acronis True Image under an operating system.

Please be aware that according to Acronis software licensing policy, you should purchase one copy of Acronis program per every computer where it will be used.

Thank you Terry. We appreciate your collaboration on this matter.

Thank you.
