For my laptop, I'm looking for a reliable PC lockout/security program that can do all the following:

-Locks PC with password and asks for it upon reboot, even in safe mode
-Can't be bypassed (such as being deleted, Ctrl-Alt-Del, etc.)
-Locks automatically after a set PC idle time or timer
-Quickly lock with a mouse-click

I prefer freeware of course, but with those features, I expect to pay.
Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Hi Bubba,

It's Win98 SE.

{QUOTE-> It's Win98 SE. <-QUOTE}The Win9X OS's are very limited in the absolute password protection that can be provided compared to a NT based OS. If your laptop provides a bios password I would suggest you definetly consider that for starters.

Thanks!
I'll look into that.
I may soon upgrade to XP, would that help?
