LookNStop is noted for its very low resource/memory usage.

On this computer, there is only 1 running process, lookstop.exe, taking up 3.8MB VM and so it is very light.

Once installed just load up the Enhanced rule-set and you will be well protected.

The enhanced rule set and application control will work fine with client applications. For things like your p2p (server) applications you will need to create rules. Sample rules that can be imported are listed here (http://www.soft4ever.com/LooknStop/En/rules/rules.htm) on the LnS site.

Look ‘n’ Stop is among a very limited number of good firewalls out there to use little resources, but the resources used can depend on the settings you use in Look ‘n’ Stop.
