Hi,
Does incremental backup work when sector-by-sector mode is used?
My backup disk space was full during backup, i noticed the incremental backup image file was already 30-40% the size of the full backup image with minor changes in the file system since full backup. The partition is encrypted with DCPP so True Image works in binary mode.

Hello rpd,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).
We regret to inform you that sector-by-sector method of image creation doesn't allow to create the incremental backups. The sector-by-sector method creates the image of all sectors of the selected partition/entire disk. This image contains not only sectors with data but also sectors that are free. If Acronis True Image 9.0 can't recognize a partition, all sectors of this partition are included in this image by sector-by-sector method and can be restored.
If you want us to change the behaviour of Acronis True Image in any way or add some new features to this product, please feel free to post any of your suggestions in Acronis True Image WISH-LIST thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=85595).
Thank you.
