SG Updates...

The SpywareGuard database hasn't been updated in over a month. I have SG 2.1 but haven't been able to get an up to date database for it since I downloaded it (last one is from 6/29). I also have SpywareBlaster and it does get 2 or 3 updates to its database weekly. Is this really so or is there a problem with my software? Thank you in advance..........

There is no problem with your install and you are up to date. SpywareGuard does not need to update that often since it is mostly based upon a heuristic scanning technique, which means the recognition doesn't depend upon specific singatures or definitions that need to be updated frequently.

However, SpywareBlaster protects only against a specific list of known spyware items, so it updates frequently.
