Hi,
in advanced option i set password enable (+lock all), but yesterday a message box just showed up for firefox with an asking to allow or block it. So, this way any user who is front of the computer can 'edit' the app filtering rules? Or its not that important because if i set up proper internet filtering nothing can communicate to outside?
2 another thing:
- It would be nice to have some monitoring tool in LnS for active connections, like in kerio for example.
- On win xp (sp2) if i set the thread injection the system freezes/restart.
Thanks and sorry for bad english.

teh password option blocks user from changing lns option like application and internet filtering but u will still receive application alerts.

go to the log tab and click on the connections tab. it doesnt show the application however.

if u have hardware DEP (e.g. athlon 64 or other DEP-enabled cpu) that could be the problem.

Normally the "lock all" option is supposed to block by default (with no popup) any new application that tries to connect.
Exception are:
- an application is already listed but the entry was disabled (the checkbox on the left)
- the signature has changed
for which the popup is still there even with the lock all.
