I have a Windows XP machine in which I want to move to a faster SATA-II disk. I understand that TrueImage9 does not install in WinXP 64, but can I use it to clone my disk to a new disk using the bootCD and not install it in the OS?

Hello roblarso,
Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).
Yes, you can obtain Acronis True Image basic functionality by temporarily installing Acronis True Image onto a Windows 32-bit machine and creating an Acronis True Image Bootable CD. You can then uninstall Acronis True Image. As the Acronis True Image Bootable CD boots you into the Linux environment you can use it to clone your 64-bit OS.
Please visit Acronis online store (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/sales/online/) to purchase the full version of the product.
Please also note that we have a flexible system of discounts and the amount of the discount varies depending on the number of copies you want to purchase.
In case you are planning to purchase many copies, please contact our Sales Team at sales@acronis.com.
Thank you.
