Hi !
I've bought NOD32 and need some tips !
what is the advantage to use v2 instead of v1,except the heuristic engine which has been improved ?
Does it perform better when it comes to detect ITW/Zoo virus ?
Thanks 4 all !
Sincerely,
Nick

The email scanner is much improved and the GUI is better too in NOD 2 IMO. This is in addition to the advanced heuristics which improves the detection capacities of the program. (I understand that one can run the NOD on demand scanner from the command line as per the instructions to use the AH. Additionally, one can also download Paolo's shell extenstion so one can use AH to scan individual files from the context menu.)
Finally, support for NOD 1 (sig def updates, etc) will be phased out so if you want to continue to use NOD, you'll have to use NOD version 2.
