What's New in Firefox 1.5.0.1
Firefox 1.5.0.1 is a stability and security update that is part of our ongoing program to provide a safe Internet experience for our customers. We recommend that all users upgrade to this latest version.
Here's what's new in Firefox 1.5.0.1:
* Improved stability.
* Improved support for Mac OS X.
* International Domain Name support for Iceland (.is) is now enabled.
* Fixes for several memory leaks.
* Several security enhancements.

btw, I simply downloaded and installed straight over top.
I even did that with the first version of 1.5, straight over 1.09... no probs. [for me]

Doesn't 1.5 have the new improved update thingie? Does that mean i can autodownload 1.5.1 without any uninstall? Just like how i patch IE?

;) I have just downloaded and installed it.... and I can felt it...:blink: it really is much more stable and more better than its previous version. Even my surfing got more faster. :o

You're right, it definitely seems more stable and light. Pages seem to load a bit faster too...:o :D

I like to read this. Firefox is still #1 for me, including Thunderbird.
No, I'm not going to say anything bad about MSIE and MS Outlook.
Without MSIE and MS Outlook, Firefox and Thunderbird would look normal, average, nothing special ... :)

Memory usage greatly improved on my Linux installation. Under windows the memory usage also decased a lot. Way to go... :thumb:

I have just tried the new firefox 1.5.0.1 and like ver 1.5 it still does not accept mouse guestures from StrokeIt. Tried all the workarounds that have been suggested for 1.5 and nothing works, so have gone back to 1.07 where they do work.
