Hi guys...
I've got this problem I just can't get rid of. :(
My hard drive is partitioned in two sections, C and D. D contains all my stored software-execs and mails. I just tried to resize D, using Partition Magic.
During the under dos process, the power supply to the pc got switched off, and the process interrupted.
Now the D partition, while not destroyed nor deleted, seems to be unavailable and I have no idea how to get access to it.
It seems the D is now labeled as 'cached' or 'pending' or something like that (PqRP), but I don't know how to get it back to normal.
Help !! Where do I go from here ?

Hi. This is from the help file of Partition Magic 7.0.
PqRP Partitions
If your computer fails during a PartitionMagic operation, you may see a partition that displays as PqRP or PQFLEX in the partition list in the main screen. PartitionMagic flags a partition with a PqRP file system and a PQFLEX label, so you know that the partition has been modified. You should assume that a PqRP partition is not stable. Contact PowerQuest technical support for help in recovering data from a PqRP partition.

Hi JacK ;)
Still running on W98 SE with Lite PC Micro...
Hello Root ;)
I'll surf the web and try to locate PowerQuest help forum... I'm afraid the guarantee for my 1999 version has run out a long time ago.
Thanks to both of you,

Hello again :D
Pffiieewww! I finally could find help on the net, simply by doing a search based on PqRP +powerquest +partition.
Luckily, the partition resizing process got interrupted in its early stage, so I didn't lose any data, except for a few .exe I could find back on the net or on some backup cd of mine.
Now I think I'll go back and read Root's Prevention 101 thread again - seems I badly need it ;D
Thanks again JacK and Root...

Hello,
I strongly advise you to run a scandisk and defrag before using PQPM and ONLY from the floppy.
You should update : great improvement with v8 and above.
