Error writting to disk-I cant D/load Updates!!?

When Attempting to Update NOD 32 -Error message appears-"Error writting to disk" & I noted the incorrect spelling of writing.
I have had this installed for a while & have had it Update automatically without problems as recently as 21/1/2006.
I tried a fresh install (uninstalled 1st) no effect. Now I have a fresh installation but still needs updates .
What is going on?

Do the following files exist?

C Drive> Windows> Temp

C Drive> Documents and Settings> (User Name) XXXXXX> Local Settings> Temp
