Since the last virus update, I receive always:

probably unknown NewHeur_PE virus found in operating memory. No action can be taken while the file is in memory. Click "Leave" to continue and subsequently run the cleaning of all local disks. System memory infection originated from file C:\Program Files\SmartSync Pro\SmartSync.exe.

Other virus scanner like Kaspersky or AVG does not report anything wrong. Is this a false alarm? Anybody has the same?

Hi,
Welcome to Wilders!
Do you know what this program is for?
Anyway I recommend you to disable AMON, take the infected file, compress this in RAR or ZIP format with infected as password and send it to samples at eset point com.

Yes, I use this program to synchronize/create daily backups of my programming projects and source codes with my server. I had submitted it already weeks ago. Just wanted to make anyhow sure that it is not a virus. Other AV scanner also do not recognize it as a potential virus and I have to use this program once a day.

Please send the file in question to the address I indicated.
Please send a copy to support at eset point com
Include FP or False Positive in the subject of your message.

While the FP isn't fixed, you can exclude this app. from being scanned by AMON.
Just go to AMON, Setup, Exclusions. Then, add app.'s folder to this list.

PS: Anyway, if you send the file to the addresses I said you, the FP will be fixed quickly.
