uninstalling nod32 -firefox problem

Hi,

I own NOD32 2.51.20 and i want to unistall it. Well it uninstall just fine but then my firefox 1.5 can't access to internet. Also msn messenger stop working but internet explorer works. ???

Firefox gets error message saying that maybe i have wrong proxy or firewall settings. Messenger failure at dns and firewall checking.

I think that nod32 sets up some of those internet settings when installing. (proxy, etc). I'm not sure what to do.

Also when i install nod32 back, everything is normal.

I'm using windows xp x64 with its firewall and 64bit nod32.

any suggestion?

To fix this problem try repairing Winsock, (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?p=462132#post462132)
